Sorry for the very late update today. I put on Season 2 of Eastbound and Down and cranked out some assembly. 32 Purifiers later, I now have 4 squads of 8 Purifiers ready to kick ass. This weekend will be paint-riffic, I'm guessing.
Yeah, that's a lot of work. But you are fast. I am very rigorous when it comes to gluing models together since I can't suffer any mould lines ever. I hope I can finish my BA by the end of the week. You think you can finish painting that in one weekend?
Probably not. I'll be happy if I can get the base coat of boltgun metal and badab black wash down on all of them. After that it will take a day to highlight them, and then another few hours to do details. So maybe two or three weekends depending on if I can get work done during the week or not.
I just ordered my 7 boxes so I see your plastic greyness and raise you...well nothing currently. :)
ReplyDeleteI think 7 boxes is my stopping point, unless I get the itch to play GK at 'Ard Boyz, but probably not too likely.
ReplyDeleteLol, I hate assembly. I'm allergic to the glue (makes it hard to breathe for the rest of the day) and I hate it when I can't get it off my fingers :-p
ReplyDeleteSo well done! Should be fun to see your progress, then see how it does on the tabletop :)
